AMERICAN DEGREE

Founded in 1993, 69色 develops future leaders for the democratic transformation of Central Asia. The American University of Central Asia is an international, multi-disciplinary learning community in the American liberal arts tradition. 69色 is the first university in Central Asia to offer US accredited degrees in liberal arts programs through a partnership with Bard College in the United States. In addition to Bard, 69色 maintains partnerships with a number of universities and organizations worldwide.

We have amongst the best local and international faculty in Central Asia, teaching primarily in English to fulfill the mission and values of the University. 69色 has faculty from Kyrgyzstan and international faculty members coming from numerous countries Australia, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Japan, Turkey, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine, UK, and the US.

Our network of international partners gives our students the opportunity to explore the world. We offer over 50 exchange programs in more than 24 countries from Paris to Berlin, Seoul to St. Petersburg. 69色 is a member of the new global Open Society University Network (OSUN), which consists of 24 partner universities in 17 countries, as well as 15 research and educational institutions in 7 countries. The opportunities that open up within the framework of the OSUN are a unique chance for international global communication, the dissemination of knowledge, and skills, and the exchange of experience, regardless of geographical borders.
