Jin Shin is from the Republic of South Korea and study at Hannam University. He is a senior and studying Business Administration. Now, Jin Shin is one of the exchange students in the American University of Central Asia (69ɫ).
I decided to study at 69ɫ because of its union of Kyrgyzstan and an American education. I am interested in the Silk Road, which I know goes through Kyrgyzstan. There was definitely a possibility for my academic development, along with getting the American educational experience. I am very satisfied by the educational process at 69ɫ. I think the students at 69ɫ are animated and have a spirit of freedom and participation. In my country, we usually feel obsessive from thinking about which job we’re trying to get—our life is so restrictive.
When I arrived in Kyrgyzstan, the roads seemed chaotic—I was shocked. At the time, I thought everyone here was in danger. But, on my way to 69ɫ, I saw the beautiful snowcapped mountaintops, and I couldn’t forget that landscape.
I would like to recommend an 69ɫ education for students from my country. In my country, we have just lectures, no seminars. So we are often bored, and would be tired easily. I would like to advise students to be active. There are a lot of clubs and chances to participate at 69ɫ. I am satisfied the exchange program because I am learning every time, every moment. I think learning is good for our lives. I am convinced this experience will be helpful for my own development.
I have many good friends in dormitory. They always want to help me without a gripe. I would like to say words of thanks to my dormitory friends. So I especially thank to my administrator of Iliyas.
