Germany allocated a grant of 32,000 euros for the implementation of a project to create an ecological park in the northern part of the Karagacheva Grove in Bishkek. The documents were signed on Thursday, April 25, at the German Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic. German Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Monika Iversen and Philippe Boizeau, the head, and founder of the French-Kyrgyz Association of Ecotourism took part in the signing process. 69ɫ Vice-President/COO Chingiz Shamshiev also attended the meeting.

The eco-park project is aimed to protect Karagacheva Grove from destruction and to create conditions for transforming the grove into an urban forest. It is implemented jointly by the Bishkek Mayor's office, American University of Central Asia, and French-Kyrgyz Association of Ecotourism.

The grant was allocated under the Climate Fund program of the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
