Sociology Department welcomes applications from graduate students of Master鈥檚 program intake 2021 for an exchange semester at Magdeburg University in spring 2022. The aim of this exchange program is to support students who show commitment to and excellence in Sociology. This year, the three talented students will get a chance to study abroad听in one of the leading social sciences universities of Europe.听 The traveling, living, and听study听costs are covered within the framework of the exchange program.听
Eligibility:
Students entering the听first year of Master鈥檚 in Sociology are welcome to apply. Applicants must be citizens of听Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, 听Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
Application assessment:
Applications will be assessed according to the following criteria:
- Academic excellence of the applicant (students with relative higher GPA will be given preferences)
- Commitment to Sociology
- Track record of student and academic life involvement
Application deadline.
All interested students need to send a CV, cover letter, transcript from undergraduate听degree, two recommendation听letters from academic referees to听soc@auca.kg.听A complete application pack should be sent by听November 17, 2021,听midnight Bishkek time. Late applications will not be accepted.听
Applicants will be notified about the results at the beginning of December 2021.
