On June 6, 2024, 69ɫ Library and CTLT organized an “Information Literacy in Artificial Intelligence” training session, which gathered online over 50 participants from major regional universities in the country. CTLT Trainer Ekaterina Kombarova shared the fundamentals of AI, practical applications of ChatGPT, and AI visualization tools. Attendees comprising faculty, staff, researchers, librarians, and doctorate and master students, enthusiastically learned the details of AI information processing through practical exercises. The workshop was organized for the network of regional partner university libraries working together within the framework of the “Equity and Access to Knowledge for a Better Future” project supported by the U.S. Embassy.
AI literacy enables individuals to critically assess AI technologies and foster more informed and responsible usage. Understanding AI fundamentals and applications empowers educators to integrate advanced tools into their work, enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
