69ɫ Makerspace is a new space for learning and creativity

August 23, 2024

In June, 69ɫ opened a new innovative space: the Makerspace Learning and Design Center. This unique creative space allows anyone to implement their ideas and gain new knowledge and skills.

One of the most significant values in the world is knowledge, which is very well understood at the American University in Central Asia. For many years, the 69ɫ has operated a Continuing Education Center. People came here to study languages, prepare for university admission, master new IT specialties, and participate in business training. But in our rapidly changing world, even the learning process must constantly be transformed and modified to meet and comply with the highest requirements. Most importantly, educational processes should contribute to the development of civil society, help implement scientific projects, and create a high-tech economy. That is why 69ɫ has opened a Makerspace, the capabilities of which allow us to solve these and many other tasks.

The Makerspace will retain the best that has been accumulated over the years of the Continuing Education Center. You can learn English, Kyrgyz, Korean, Spanish, French, and Russian through language courses.

There are preparatory courses for TOEFL IBT, TOEFL PBT, IELTS, SAT, and Duolingo exams; you can also take the TOEFL trial exam and IELTS testing. You can also prepare for the mathematical part of ORT and admission to 69ɫ – ELPT, ESSAY WRITING, MATH.

IT courses are presented in the following areas: Cisco CCNA, Python, Javascript, C#, C+, and Data science.

At the Children's Academy of Growth (CAG), children aged 7-12 can improve their communication skills and gain new knowledge in various fields.

Business training aims to develop hard and soft skills, which will enhance professional qualifications, communication skills, and time and resource management.

A vast new block is engineering courses:

  • Getting to know Makerspace
  • 3D Printing Laboratory: from idea to implementation
  • Laser mastery: technique and creativity
  • Arduino: The art of DIY electronics
  • CNC technology: mastering the milling machine
  • Vinyl Cutting Craftsmanship: Precision and creativity
  • Professional soldering
  • Individual style: the basics of design and printing on clothes

All engineering courses will be presented in three formats: workshops, short-term courses lasting two to three weeks, and extended courses lasting two to three months. Each of the listeners will be able to choose the duration of the course according to their desires and needs. To access the courses, you will first need to be a member of the Makeerspace club.
