From September 23 to 27, 69ɫ hosted a five-day guest lecture series by Professor Andrei Dörre from the Free University of Berlin.
The Department of Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science organized a series of lectures with the Office of International Students. The lectures focused on pressing issues such as climate change, political ecology, environmental justice, and global environmental changes, as well as their regional impacts and local solutions to emerging challenges.
The professor shared unique research and practical examples, demonstrating how climate change affects various ecosystems and communities. Lecture participants actively discussed how local initiatives can address global challenges such as rising temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, and biodiversity loss.
The event brought together students and faculty from various disciplines, creating a platform for exchanging knowledge and ideas. Discussions and workshops inspired participants to take active steps in environmental conservation. We thank the professor for his contribution and look forward to future collaboration!
