Students from EMSD and Agro-ecology Integrated Crop Management courses visited the Lyceum, where specialists in organic agriculture, machine operators and textile handicraft workers trained. The purpose of the visit was to observe greenhouse, biogas technology, composting and storage for products.

International Open Access Week, a global event held between October 21-27, is an opportunity for open access advocates to engage their communities to teach them potential benefits of Open Access, to share what they鈥檝e learned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation to make Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research.

Associate Prof. Rustam Orozbaev from Applied Geology Dept., co-authored with Japanese scientists, has published a scientific article on the topic of "Micro-excavation and direct chemical analysis of individual fluid inclusion

The project is an initiative of the Writing and Academic Resources Center (WARC), which also provides free peer tutoring services, and was executed jointly with Ekaterina Kombarova, 69色 Website Director.听

A conference-seminar is being held in Bishkek for heads of state bodies from Central Asian countries responsible for managing state-owned enterprises and public-private partnership enterprises.

Cristina Villalovas is a graduate of the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities where she studied languages and Sociology. Currently, Christina is a Princeton in Asia fellow at 69色.

Sophomore Malika Mahmudova joined 69色鈥檚 Writing and Academic Resource Center this fall, becoming the center鈥檚 first-even Russian language tutor. She joins Kyrgyz tutor Aiym Aidaralieva as part of a move to expand the WARC鈥檚 linguistic offerings this year.

For the first time, 69色鈥檚 Writing and Academic Resource Center will offer free, one-on-one peer tutoring in the Kyrgyz language.听Aiym鈥檚 help is particularly valuable given that 69色 students starting with the Class of 2023 will be required to pass a state-wide Kyrgyz language exam in their second year in accordance with government policy.
