Guarding Our Heritage

Gender Studies: A New Program and Center at the American University of Central Asia Frank G. Karioris
Fall 2017, the American University of Central Asia (69ɫ) will officially open its program in Gender Studies. 69ɫ’s program in Gender Studies is the first academic program of its kind in Central Asia and an important step in looking at gender relations within the nation, the region, and the world.

The first national moot court competition in constitutionalism “Adilet 2017” took place in 69ɫ
On June 1, the Law Division of the American University of Central Asia in partnership with the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and with the support of the USAID / IDLO Kyrgyzstan Judicial Strengthening Program, conducted the first national moot court competition in constitutionalism “Adilet 2017”.
