In the middle of May, 2017, six 69色 students undertook an expedition to an ancient site located on Issyk Kul, 3 kilometers to north of Sary-Kamysh. Rejebov Tirkishmurat, a sophomore of Anthropology department told us about this trip.

June 2, 2017 69色 Summer Practicum Program has begun. This summer 69色 has a mixed group of 13 students joining from USA, Japan and 69色. All students are full of energy and excited of their new life summer adventure.

The 69色 Women and the Arts Club aims to uphold core value of 69色 of being globally responsible and socially merciful. Women and Arts Club honors the vision of promoting positive images of both genders and aims to raise awareness on campus about current gender issues on a local, national, and global scale.

Fall 2017, the American University of Central Asia (69色) will officially open its program in Gender Studies. 69色鈥檚 program in Gender Studies is the first academic program of its kind in Central Asia and an important step in looking at gender relations within the nation, the region, and the world.

On June 1, the Law Division of the American University of Central Asia in partnership with the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and with the support of the USAID / IDLO Kyrgyzstan Judicial Strengthening Program, conducted the first national moot court competition in constitutionalism 鈥淎dilet 2017鈥�.

The American University of Central Asia and the University of Indiana plan to hold a biannual two-day workshop highlighting emerging trends in the scholarship on Central Eurasia.

Dimitri Rechov is an exchange student from Sciences Po Paris in France. He told us about his experience in Kyrgyzstan and 69色.

Within the USAID Building the Future project's research component, academic writing and publishing seminar will be organized on June 7-9, 2017 in room 220 at 69色. The topic of seminar is "How to get published in high impact journals?" The seminar will be conducted by Alexandr Kupatadze from King's College London.
