Dr. Fatma Jobran, a guest lecture from Taibah University, visited 69ɫ
On 20 January, 2016, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the American University of Central Asia (69ɫ), organized “Design and Innovation,” a guest lecture by Dr. Fatma Jobran from Taibah University in Saudi Arabia. Through the lecture, Dr. Jobran explained how people’s psychological, emotional, and social well-being can be benefited through scientifically and concisely designing their environments.

Now, it is more appropriate for me to answer the question- “Who are you?” by “I am the alumna of 69ɫ”. I have already used this response several times and every time I felt immense pride and loved the feeling of belongingness to the big family of my alma mater.

The Writing and Academic Resource Center of 69ɫ
The WARC’s primary mission is to help students succeed in their courses across the curriculum, and in particular, in writing-intensive courses with the help of formally trained peer tutors. The WARC’s secondary mission is to support faculty across the curriculum in enhancing their writing pedagogy skills and assisting to create writing assignments that help students meet course learning outcomes.
