Last year 69色 started a cooperation with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva, Switzerland) in delivering the Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices (DPP) and became the Central Asian hub for this program.

Different excursions of 69色 students to the most beautiful places of Kyrgyzstan become the tradition. On Tuesday, 20 March 2018, department of EMSD and Applied Geology听have organized a trip for 69色 students to the 鈥淜onorchek鈥� canyon and 鈥淜aragacheva rosha鈥� forest park.

The Central Asian Hackfest 2018 "Generation Z: Children's Welfare" was launched in Kyrgyzstan where IT developers from the countries in the region will work together to find digital solutions to promote and protect children's rights.

On March 4 and March 15, 2018 the Department of International and Comparative Politics held crisis games in English for high-school students in Osh and Bishkek where young people discussed and debated on a topic of 鈥淐risis on the Korean Peninsula鈥�.

Razia Gul is a junior student at 69色 who is currently majoring in International and Comparative Politics and minoring in Journalism and Mass Communication. Razia has spent her 2017-2018 fall semester in one of the oldest universities in the world Philipps University Marburg, Germany

This semester, the Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) introduced tutoring sessions in programming by request from the Student Senate. This initiative鈥攚hich became an immediate success, with all of the programming sessions booked on a regular basis--marks the first example of close cooperation between the Student Senate and the WARC.听 We asked the Student Senators to tell us more about this project.

芦This experience听听was very helpful when听听I was applying to the Master Degree Programs and scholarships, because to have high grades in a transcript is not the main priority for the admissions and听听sponsors, they consider also the experience to conduct research. As my professor at my new university said, 鈥測ou are here not because you are the best, you are here because you are already a researcher禄.

Congratulations to 69色 professor, Elira Turdubaeva on becoming the official representative 鈥� Vice President in Asian region of World Communication Association for the 2018-2023 periods.

Based on high interest among 69色 students, and with the goal to raise academic research capacities of 69色 students and promote migration studies in KR in general, TSPC will award 3 fellowships for students to conduct research in migration issues pertaining to Kyrgyzstan/Central Asia.

Memorandum between American University of Central Asia and Porsesh Research & Studies Organization was signed.The partnership is aimed to develop long-term, effective and mutually advantageous cooperation, targeted at promoting international collaboration and networking in the area of gender studies, specifically with the research center at 69色, the Center for Critical Gender Studies.
