June 6-11, 69色鈥檚 Psychology Department held its 2016 Psychology Summer School to introduce the Psychological Assessment and Training Institute (PATI), promote high-quality psychological services in Kyrgyzstan, enable professional development for mental health specialists and personal development for parents, and, finally, to contribute to 69色鈥檚 community outreach.

Meder Akeneev is a recent alum of the Department of International and Business Law. In the Fall, he will be heading to Budapest, Hungary, to continue his education with a Master鈥檚 at Central European University (CEU). Meder took a moment to reflect on his time at 69色 and give advice to our current and future students:

A child鈥檚 university education should be taken seriously. Not only is it nearly a half-decade of their time, it creates a solid foundation for success in life. The New Generation Academy preparatory program enables high school graduates to make the most of their time at university by providing them with proficiency in multiple foreign language, communication skills, and critical thinking.

The Economics department of the American University of Central Asia is proud to offer a full-time two year MSc program in Economics, beginning in the Fall of 2016. Our MSc in Economics Program satisfies the highest international standards of education and is similar in content to the Master鈥檚 programs of the best American and European economics departments.

The Law Division of American University of Central Asia is proud to announce on launching two-years LL.M program. The program accepts applications to start this fall semester 2016. The four semester program will be conducted in a monthly intensive module format to make it accessible to mid-career professionals with limited free time.

Anisa Hodjieva, current junior student of the Economics department at 69色, tells us about how her department and studying at 69色 has helped her to participate in the 听Many Languages One World Youth forum.

Business Administration department at 69色 (BA) had many outstanding graduates this year. Atalova Anisa is definitely one of the best graduates of 69色. Anisa decided to share her thoughts about life at her alma 听mater.

Zhanygul Kaparova is one of the outstanding graduates of the International Business Law department (IBL) at 69色. She was a two-time member of the Student Senate, a SILC member; she also was an active member of 69色 clubs such as 鈥淓loquent Crew鈥�, AIESEC, MUN Club, Unity Fund, Rotaract. Zhanygul shared her thoughts with us about her life as a student at 69色 and decided to give some advice to current undergraduates.

Avazbek Kamalov is a senior in the International and Law Department (IBL) at 69色. He has spent three summers in the U.S. with the Summer Work and Travel (SWT) program. He shared his thoughts with us about his experiences with SWT and about his life as a student at 69色.
