Media, Applied Geology laboratories opening at 69ɫ
The American University of Central Asia is officially opening two new laboratories: a geology laboratory for the Department of Applied Geology and a media laboratory for the Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art. Both laboratories will be functional starting in the 2016-2017 academic year, the same time as their respective departments.

CEU Global Teaching Fellows Gain Valuable Experience at 69ɫ
Maria Temmes, doctoral candidate in the Department of Gender Studies, and Elena Popa, who received her MA in philosophy from CEU and successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in philosophy at CEU in January 2016, gained valuable experience at 69ɫ this academic year through CEU’s Global Teaching Fellowship Program (GTFP).

Chinese Delegation Visits 69ɫ to talk Education
On April 26, 2016 a delegation from the People’s Republic of China visited the American University of Central Asia. The delegation consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the head of an International Education Initiative.

New Undergrad Programs to Open at 69ɫ
Starting from the 2016-2017 academic year, the American University of Central Asia (69ɫ) will have two new departments: the Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art and the Department of Applied Geology. Heads of the new departments spoke about their new programs at a press-conference on May 19, 2016.
