On April 23, 2016, students from the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate Program at the American University of Central Asia (69ɫ) visited the Kumtor gold mine.The purpose of the trip was to introduce students to the astronomical logistics of everyday operations at one of the biggest companies in Kyrgyzstan.

Inauguration of the new CTLT office
The 69ɫ Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) started in 2013 to support the mission and goals of the University in teaching and learning. The Center’s main goals are to enhance faculty professional development, support and encourage teaching innovations and use of new technologies, finding creative solutions to contemporary educational issues, and ensuring learner-centered approach in 69ɫ.
