Sir James Mirrlees, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics and emeritus Professor of Political Economy at Cambridge University, has been chosen as the keynote speaker for 69色鈥檚 commencement ceremony to be held on June 4, 2016.

Aichurok Ybyraimova, a junior in the Sociology department at 69色, is now finishing her exchange semester at Hannam University, South Korea. Here, she shares with us a few of her experiences living in Korea, tidbits about Korean culture, and reasons to apply for an exchange program.

On April 23, 2016, students from the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate Program at the American University of Central Asia (69色) visited the Kumtor gold mine.听The purpose of the trip was to introduce students to the astronomical logistics of everyday operations at one of the biggest companies in Kyrgyzstan.

The 69色 Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) started in 2013 to support the mission and goals of the University in teaching and learning. The Center鈥檚 main goals are to enhance faculty professional development, support and encourage teaching innovations and use of new technologies, finding creative solutions to contemporary educational issues, and ensuring learner-centered approach in 69色.
