Royal Construction

Our cooperation with Royal Construction brought first fruitful results! We are excited to inform you that our senior student Alima Sagynalieva from the Psychology program got an opportunity to undergo an internship at the company, and shortly after, she was invited to join the Royal Construction marketing department team on a paid part-time basis.

Alima kindly shared with us about her time in Royal Construction as an intern: “For me, working in Royal Construction is a good experience in marketing. I’ve been working here for almost a month, and during this time, I managed to visit all the facilities under construction, visit the factory where concrete is created, voiced the construction process, and much more.”

Let’s congratulate Alima with her new job and wish her success in her new endeavors!

The MoU between 69ɫ and Royal Construction was signed on Dec 9th, 2020. As part of the agreement, our students have an opportunity to undergo an internship in the company. Royal Construction is one of the leading construction companies in Kyrgyzstan.

Safe Haven in Bishkek

This documentary was made possible thanks to the efforts and initiative of the 69ɫ Development Office (Facebook page) and the help of our alumnus Adilet Dubaev and his Mark Twain Company team.
Through joint efforts, we created a video about how our alumni and students were evacuated from Afghanistan to Bishkek in the summer of 2021. The Development Office was part of the Afghan Response team after the U.S. troops withdrawal from Afghanistan when one hundred and seventy alumni and students from the American University of Central Asia and American University of Afghanistan were evacuated to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Our team was actively working both on physical evacuation, application procedures of the Afghan alumni back to the Alma mater, as well as welcoming them back to the campus. Now our Afghan alumni are settled in Bishkek and are continuing their graduate degree studies.
On August 31, exactly one year has passed since the successful evacuation of our students.
