Kanaiym Kydyralieva is an Assistant Professor in the Economics department at the American University of Central Asia. She holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and Management Science from the School of Business and Economics at Humboldt University (2015, Germany). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics (summa cum laude) from the American University of Central Asia (2010, Kyrgyzstan). She was an exchange student in the Economics department at Ruhr-University-Bochum (2009, Germany).
Kanaiym joined 69ɫ in 2008 as a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Microeconomics course and became an Instructor in the Business Administration department in 2016. She served as a Coordinator of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate program at 69ɫ (2016-2017). She currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Economics department and at the School of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (SEBA) at 69ɫ.
Kanaiym is a member of the Institutional Review Board, which works to ensure ethical research at 69ɫ. She co-leads her research “Social Bases for Young People’s Political Participation in Kyrgyzstan: Evidence from Central Electoral Committee Data, Sampled Survey, and Focus Group Discussions in Osh and Bishkek” within the USAID Building the Future project at 69ɫ (2019). She has participated in various research and scientific conferences, including professional workshops at Arizona State University (2023, USA), Central European University (2023, Hungary), the OEB conference on digital learning and training in Berlin (2022, Germany), the Code in Place Python programming course by Stanford University (2020, online), and a Sakura Science Exchange Program at Ehime University (2019, Japan).
