Dr. Liubov Jdanova is the Chair and an Associate Professor in the European Studies department at the American University of Central Asia. She holds her Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences (2011, Kyrgyzstan), a postgraduate degree from Arabaev Kyrgyz State University (2006, Kyrgyzstan), and a specialized degree in Translation, French Language and Literature at the Department of French Language from Kyrgyz State University (1981, Kyrgyzstan).

Dr. Jdanova joined 69ɫ in 1999 as an Instructor of French and Italian languages. In 2010, she became the Chair of the European and American Studies department (2010-2016). She has organized and coordinated the annual Student Research Conference at 69ɫ for more than 15 years and coordinates the “Victoria” Contest for high school students each year.

Dr. Jdanova attended the International Perspectives in Participatory Research of PRIA Continuing Education in India and Continuing Studies at the University of Victoria in British Columbia (2009, Canada), the International Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking Program at Indiana University (2002, USA), and participated in Italian language courses at the Moscow Foreign Languages School of the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages (1985, Russia).
