A Minor Degree in Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science is designed for students studying at other undergraduate programs at 69ɫ who wish to gain additional knowledge and expertise in this field.
In order to apply for the Minor, the student must receive “B-” or higher for one required course of the ESCS department (for example, Environmental Management, ENV-216, or Climate change and sustainable development, ENV-100). Next, the student must obtain approval from the director of their Major program and from the coordinator of the ESCS program.
To obtain permission to obtain a Minor, the student must provide the following documents to the ESCS program coordinator:

The student must also maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher and obtain grades of at least “B-” in all courses related to their Minor.
Required courses:
Total: 42 credits.
Only those students whose transcripts meet all the requirements can receive a Minor degree in Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science.
