Nazgul Kabylbaeva is an Instructor at New Generation Academy at the American University of Central Asia. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language (TESOL) from Saint Michael’s College (2015, USA) and a specialized degree with summa cum laude in Marketing from the International Institute for Management, Business, and Law (1995, Kyrgyzstan).
Nazgul joined 69ɫ in August 2024 and teaches courses of English for Academic Purposes, Test Preparation, and Fundamentals of Grammar at the preparatory level. Nazgul has extensive experience in Teaching English as a Second Language to different levels of students as well as training teachers of English in effective teaching methodologies. She was a presenter at the KIX EAP Education Policy and Innovation Conference (EPIC), June 2023; Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) Conference, MN, USA, April 2022; 9th Annual Dismantling Rape Culture Conference, University of Vermont, USA, April 2014, a participant of the Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program IREX / University of Alabama in Huntsville, Alabama, USA, 2008, and a member of U.S. Program Alumni Kyrgyz Fulbright Associations.
Nazgul has led the development of new electronic 1579 titles and 462 printed titles of children's literature in Kyrgyz, Russian, Uzbek, Tajik, and Sign Languages through the USAID “Okuu keremet!” project in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, which resulted in a distribution of 1.8 million books to Kyrgyz schools in January 2024.
