Diana Arykbaeva is an Assistant Professor of the non-degree General Education program at the American University of Central Asia. She is a Ph.D. candidate and pursuing her Ph.D. at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. She did her postgraduate degree (aspirantura) at Kyrgyz State University (2005-2008). She holds her specialized degree in German Language and Literature with honors from Kyrgyz State University (1997, Kyrgyzstan).

Diana joined 69ɫ in 2013 as an Assistant Professor of German language and literature. She serves as a member of the Austrian language exam commission in the Kyrgyz Republic. She is a Vice-President of the German language teachers’ union in Kyrgyzstan. Diana was a DAAD fellow at Freiburg University (2009, Germany) and participated in local and international scientific conferences and workshops, including the “German via Smartphone” online workshop (2023), “Little exercises for in between in German lessons. Creative, fast, and effective” online workshop (2023), the XVII International Congress of German language Teachers (2022, Austria), and the methodical and didactical workshop “Lesson planning step by step” (2022, Kyrgyzstan).
