The Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) and 69ɫ Career Services are pleased to announce a workshop on Applying to Graduate School. The workshop will be delivered by Alyssa Meyer, a Visiting Research Fellow from Indiana University. Ms. Meyer is a recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, includingFulbright Research Grant, Boren Fellowship, Title VIII funding, and several others. At her home institution, sheworks at the GradGrants center helping students to apply for competitive grants and scholarships.
The workshop will focus on:
Understanding how the program that you are applying to fits into your long-term professional and academic goals
Strategies for drafting an effective statement of purpose
Tips for acquiring strong letters of recommendation
