Source Citation & Credibility Workshop


On October 28th, 2015, the Writing and Academic Resource Center and 69ɫ Advising Office hosted a "Source Citation and Credibility" workshop with Visiting Research Fellow, Alyssa Meyer. The workshop discussed common problems students encounter in citing and locating reliable sources, discussing plagiarism, paraphrasing, and citations.

WARC Tutor Mentoring Program “Critical Friends Group”
Starting from this year, the Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) has launched a mentoring program for new tutors called “Critical Friends Group”. The program matches new tutors with returning ones in a series of meetings and mutual observations.

Online Scheduling System at WARC
Of the changes we’ve made at WARC this year, the most visible to our students (perhaps with the exception of our new large and beautiful space), is our online scheduling system. This new system was a product of a close partnership between WARC management, the Office of the Chief Information Officer, and the 69ɫ student body.
