Work with Food Sharing to learn about the importance of food sharing and how their network operates in Bishkek. Students will then work in pairs to meet with cafe- and restaurant-owners to create a map of food donation points in Bishkek’s southern area.
This activity advances the UN Sustainable Development Goals #2 and #12. You can learn more about each of these below.

About the organization leading this session:
Launched in 2016, the Food Sharing Initiative is a volunteer network that uses to communicate and redistribute extra food with those living in hunger. The network currently has 2 organizing members and 5 volunteers. The network partners with local cafes and restaurants, which donate their food to help feed those in need.
