Objective:
● Ensure that all students graduate from 69ɫ with an understanding of environmental problems in particular, the importance of environmental sustainability, their individual impact and responsibilities.
● Ensure that all 69ɫ students engage in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives
● Ensure that 69ɫ faculty engage in activities and implement concepts and approaches of sustainability into their courses.

Scope:
● Bachelor and Master programs, New Generation Academy, Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (e.g. regarding training of faculty)
● Recruitment of faculty and students

Plan of work:
● Survey faculty about content and readings covering environmental topics in particular and sustainability more broadly as part of their courses
● Assess the possibility of introducing readings on relevant topics as part of First and/or Second Year Seminar and Language & Thinking component of Orientation

● Review curriculum of courses required by the Kyrgyz Government (e.g. Geography of Kyrgyzstan) for possibilities to introduce relevant content and readings
● Assess the need for training faculty on sustainability, environmental sustainability, climate change
● Assess the possibility of updating the core competencies for students and possibly introduce one related to sustainability
